Terms of Service

By using MicTask.dev("the Service"), you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these terms, you must not use our platform.

1. Description of the Service

MicTask.dev is an AI-powered productivity tool that transcribes your voice notes and turns them into organized tasks inside the third-party service Notion. You can send those notes from the MicTask app for iOS, where you record them directly, or from our Telegram bot, which remains available as an alternative.

2. Acceptable Use

By using the Service, you agree that you will not:

  • Use the service to process illegal, defamatory, or malicious content.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer the platform, compromise its security, or abuse API usage limits.
  • Share access credentials in an automated way to evade paid-plan usage limits.

3. Reliance on Third Parties

MicTask.dev integrates directly with third-party platforms to function, specifically Notion, language-model providers (such as Groq/OpenAI) and, depending on how you use it, Telegram and Apple. We are not responsible for service interruptions, API changes, or loss of functionality resulting directly from outages or decisions made by these third-party services.

4. Payments and Subscriptions

The Service requires a paid subscription: there is no free plan and no trial period. We offer the Starter and Pro plans, each on a monthly or annual billing cycle. By subscribing, you agree to be charged on a recurring basis according to the cycle you choose, until you cancel.

How you pay depends on where you subscribe, and so does how you cancel:

  • On the web: payments are processed securely through Stripe. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard settings.
  • In the iOS app: the purchase is an in-app purchase handled by Apple and billed to your Apple Account. It renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and Apple charges the renewal within the 24 hours before that period ends. You manage and cancel it from your Apple Account settings, not from MicTask — deleting your MicTask account does not cancel it.

Cancellation prevents the next billing cycle's charge, but no refunds are issued for unused time in the current cycle. Refunds for purchases made through the App Store are handled by Apple under its own policy.

5. Intellectual Property

All audio, text, and tasks generated through the Service belong exclusively to you (or your respective employers/clients). MicTask.dev claims no ownership rights over the content you process using the tool. MicTask.dev's source code, design, and brand are the property of the company and may not be copied or reproduced without explicit authorization.

6. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." While we strive to ensure that AI-generated tasks are accurate, we do not guarantee that the Service is free of errors (including, without limitation, AI "hallucinations" or incorrect interpretations of audio context). In no event shall MicTask.dev be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from use or inability to use the service.

7. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will notify you of substantial changes by email or by posting a prominent notice on our website.
